Mom's Genie Return Policy

Though we strive to give you a great customer experience each time you shop with us, but considering the fact that, due to various factors, the same Product cannot be used by other customers upon return, we normally don’t accept return or exchange of the Products once sold or delivered, except in accordance with the MomsGenie Return Policy set forth hereinafter (“this Return Policy”).

1Definitions

1.1. Unless the context otherwise requires, the words and phrases defined in MomsGenie Terms of Use  have the same meaning wherever they appear in this Return Policy.

2Returns/Replacements/Exchanges And Refunds

2.1. Products once delivered are non-returnable/non-replaceable/non-exchangeable, except in the following situations, to the following extent, and in the following manner, strictly subject to the compliance of essential conditions precedent to permitted returns, as specified in Section 3 of this Return Policy.

(a) If the product is damaged, defective, expired at the time of delivery.

(b) If any incorrect product (i.e., other than the one that was ordered is delivered.

2.2. However, if any particular return/replacement/exchange policy is specified in the listing of any product on MomsGenie Platform, the return/replacement/exchange requests with respect to that product shall be dealt with and processed in accordance with the terms of that policy, including the specific timelines and conditions laid down therein. Therefore, you are requested to read the return/replacement/exchange policy, if any, of each product as available in the listing of that product on the MomsGenie Platform, before raising any request for return/replacement/exchange or refund thereof.

2.3. Refunds for permitted returns and permitted cancellations will be processed within working 7 days from the date of return/cancellation approval of the product/order subject to satisfactory checks by MomsGenie team.

2.4. Unless otherwise stated, or expressly agreed between MomsGenie and you in writing, for the payments made by you through electronic means such as debit card, credit card, net banking, payment wallet, UPI, etc.; the refunds (if any), once processed, shall be remitted to you in the same manner and to the same payment method as was used by you for making those payments, and the refund amount may be credited to your concerned bank account/payment wallet, in 7-10 days, based on the respective bank’s/payment wallet’s policies.

2.5. However, refund for the orders placed on Cash on Delivery (COD) basis shall be transferred to your bank account as per the details thereof furnished to us by you via email at support@momsgenie.com.

2.6. The entire monetary benefit/concession/discount, if any, obtained by a customer in the form of cashback, or by availing any promotional offer/coupon code, at the time of making any purchase on MomsGenie Platform, shall be deducted from the refund amount.

3Essential Conditions Precedent For Permitted Returns

3.1. Return/replacement/exchange of damaged/defective product delivered within Hyper Local Area. The return/replacement request for such product shall be entertained by MomsGenie, at its sole discretion, only if the concerned customer reports the damage/defect within 2 hours of delivery of the concerned product, along with the Order ID, a brief description of the defect/damage, and attaching therewith a clear picture/photograph or a video of that product showing the damage/defect, via email to support@momsgenie.com. Upon our satisfaction with regard to the reported damage/defect, we will pick up the damaged/defective product, and send a replacement product in the next slot; however, if the replacement product is not available, either the order value of the returned product will be refunded or the customer can choose to purchase another product worth a price equal to or more than the price of returned product.

3.2. Return/replacement/exchange of damaged/defective product delivered in E-Commerce Area. The return/replacement request for such product shall be entertained by MomsGenie, at its sole discretion, only if the concerned customer reports the damage/defect within 2 business days of delivery of the concerned product, along with the Order ID, a brief description of the defect/damage, and attaching therewith a clear picture/photograph or a video of that product showing the damage/defect, via email to support@momsgenie.com. Upon our satisfaction with regard to the reported damage/defect, we will pick up the damaged/defective product, and send a replacement product subject to its availability in due course of time; however, if the replacement product is not available, either the order value of the returned product will be refunded or the customer can choose to purchase another product worth a price equal to or more than the price of returned product.

3.3. Return/replacement/exchange of incorrect product (i.e., other than the one that was ordered) or expired product delivered within Hyper Local Area. In the unlikely event of any incorrect product (i.e., other than the one that was ordered) or expired product being delivered to you within Hyper Local Area, we will entertain your replacement/return request, at our sole discretion, only if you report the same within 2 hours of delivery of the concerned product, along with the Order ID, clearly stating therein whether the product is incorrect (clearly mentioning brief details of the product which you had ordered, as well as the product that has been delivered) or expired, and attaching therewith a clear picture/photograph or a video of that product/packaging material, showing its description and brand, or its expiry date (as the case may be) and also showing that it is unopened, via email to support@momsgenie.com. Upon our satisfaction with regard to the reported incorrect/expired product, we will pick up the incorrect/expired product, and send a replacement product in the next slot; however, if the replacement product is not available, either the order value of the returned product will be refunded or you can choose to purchase another product worth a price equal to or more than the price of returned product.

3.4. Return/replacement of incorrect product (i.e., other than the one that was ordered) or expired product delivered in E-Commerce Area. In the unlikely event of any incorrect product (i.e., other than the one that was ordered) or expired product being delivered to you in E-commerce Area, we will entertain your replacement/return request, at our sole discretion, only if you report the same within 2 business days of delivery of the concerned product, along with the Order ID, clearly stating therein whether the product is incorrect (clearly mentioning brief details of the product which you had ordered, as well as the product that has been delivered) or expired, and attaching therewith a clear picture/photograph or a video of that product/packaging material, showing its description and brand, or its expiry date (as the case may be), and also showing that it is unopened, via email to support@momsgenie.com. Upon our satisfaction with regard to the reported incorrect/expired product, we will pick up the incorrect/expired product, and send a replacement product subject to its availability in due course of time; however, if the replacement product is not available, either the order value of the returned product will be refunded or you can choose to purchase another product worth a price equal to or more than the price of returned product.

3.5. Return of 10 (ten) per cent of items comprising a bulk order is permissible. Any order placed by you for 10 or more items valuing INR 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) or more in aggregate shall be considered a bulk order. After sending us a prior written return request via email at support@momsgenie.com and following our acceptance of your said request via email, you can return 10(ten) per cent of the total quantity of items comprising a bulk order, rounded off to the next whole number (for example, if you order 25 items, you can return 10% of those 25 items; i.e., 2.5 items, which, when rounded off to next whole number, comes to 3 items only) even if such items are not damaged/defective.

3.6. A returned product, if accepted by us for exchange with another product upon fulfillment of the foregoing conditions, will be exchanged with another product if, and only if, the final price of the exchanged product is equal to or more than the price of returned product. The exchanged product will be dispatched after the returned product has passed our product check and inspection to our entire satisfaction; provided, in case the exchanged product is of higher value, the differential amount has been paid by the concerned customer in advance via any online payment method listed on MomsGenie Platform.

3.7. Return/replacement/exchange of a damaged/defective product or its return refund will be processed only if:

  • It is determined that the concerned product was not damaged and/or it did not develop any defect while in customer’s possession;
  • The product is not different from what was shipped to the customer;
  • The product is returned in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer’s original packing box/material and MRP tag intact, along with the user-manual, warranty card, and all the accessories therein);
  • The product is unused, in its original packaging, and in saleable condition.

4Changes To Return Policy

4.1. We may make changes to this Return Policy from time to time for any reason, without any notice, by posting our amended Return Policy on MomsGenie Platform. You are responsible for reviewing the changes, if any, and complying with them regularly.

4.2. Each version of this Return Policy, posted on MomsGenie Platform, will show the effective date of amendment; i.e., the date with effect from which this Return Policy is amended. By your continued access or use of MomsGenie Platform/MomsGenie Platform Services, you acknowledge and accept the validity and applicability of amended Return Policy.

5Effective Date

5.1. This Return Policy is effective as of October 3, 2024.
